Our advice to boost your immunity
At the start of winter, we don't say no to a little boost to our immunity to repel the surrounding viruses as much as possible. Here are our tips to help you stay in shape all year round and colds, flu and stomach flu will be bad memories.
- Eat fresh fruit (1) or drink squeezed fruit juice every morning. It is well known that fruits and in particular oranges are full of vitamins that will help you strengthen your immunity and gain vitality.
- Sleeping well is essential to stay in shape and keep your body in the best possible condition to fight viruses. It is advisable to sleep between 7 and 8 hours per night (2).
- Practice regular physical activity (2), 30 minutes of walking a day is enough to keep in shape. Walking increases blood circulation and promotes the production of immune cells. Be careful not to do too intensive sports sessions which, on the contrary, would lower your immune system.
- Stay zen, intense and prolonged stress would have a negative impact on the immune system. Cortisol, also called the stress hormone, weakens your immunity and makes you more susceptible to infections, especially when too much of it in the body (3).
- Remember to wash your hands regularly and especially during an epidemic.
